T78 — better known to a previous generation of ravers as Activator — is an Italian DJ and producer who has spent more than twenty years on the front line of hard techno and hard dance. Both projects share studio output: the recent Autektone single “Megator (Activator Remix)” is literally him remixing himself.
In 2016 he founded Autektone Records as a dedicated platform for the modern hard-techno sound. Over 200 releases later — plus the Autektone Dark and Infamia Records sub-labels — it's become one of the most prolific imprints in the genre.
His catalog reads as a who's-who: solo singles and EPs sit alongside collaborations with Sam WOLFE, A*S*Y*S, Cosmic Boys, Frankyeffe, Mha Iri, Alessandra Roncone, Roberto Molinaro, MOTVS, Gabry Ponte, Krazka, Christian Okrim, Sa.Vee.Oh and dozens more. The Tektones compilation series — now fourteen volumes deep — is a fixture of the release calendar.
